Terrible Carpet, Even Worse Customer Service

I bought a carpet from Rugstudio.com 's clearance sale. It looked NOTHING like the online photo (which I now realize was severely airbrushed). I called customer service who were incredibly rude to me and refused to pay the return shipping. When I asked to speak to an owner or manager, I was told they were busy and not available. It cost me over $50 to return a mis-advertised/mis-represented rug, and then they took over a month to refund my purchase price. AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL. I don't understand how a business that treats its customers so poorly can stay in business. Beware if you do business with them.

Buyer beware! I read some of the complaint comments befor purchasing my first rug with Rug Studio, but decided to ignore the warnings and purchased anyway. No problems with the first purchase, albeit not that pricey. No problems...so I ordered two more rugs of the same quality and description. No problem. So stupid me, I figured all the complaints I read must have been wrong and then boom; I ordered a small rug for my foyer entrance comparable to the carpet that was already installed. What I saw on the internet would have worked perfectly for my needs. Well what I received was some hideous rug with all of these gold shimmering strips....it looked nothing like what was advertised on the website. When I called to complain the claims department gave me some crap about the order number being the same as what I ordered so therefore they were not responsible and I would have to absorb the shipping cost to the tune of $50 to return it which was half of the purchase price. When I called today to confirm that the rug was received and to check on my refund I asked the customer service rep to look at the website for the order number of the rug and she agreed with me that the description of the rug I ordered did not match what was shown on the website with the same order number. I asked to be speak to the claims dept and the woman was very rude and ultimately accused me of not responding by email to them about my claim which was a blatant lie. I'm always shopping on line and up until now have experienced no problems. This is the worse company I have ever dealt with. I am so sorry that I ordered a replacement before I spoke to the claims dept for a second time. I will never do business with this company again and I will urge anyone who is even thinking about ordering from them to rethink their decision.
