    They rudely demand that you pay for their mistakes. That's my experience with a recent purchase. Read on if you want to hear the whole story. Purchased a large $389 rug late on a Wednesday evening. Delivery estimate was 3-5 days (a confirmation email said it would likely go out within 24 hours from their San Antonio warehouse; great, I thought, since I'm close by in Austin). But the next day I received an email stating that the rug would be shipped from the manufacturer in New Jersey and it would not even leave the warehouse until the following week.     My husband and I ordered 3 rugs for over $1300 and the first rug delivered was not the rug we ordered. I was unable to speak with anyone by phone. Their returns are only communicated through email. Apparently they work "remotely" (and in 2015 you have to be VERY remote to not have telephone access!!) After 4 phone calls and losing my temper and stopping payment with my credit card company, they finally emailed to acknowledge that the rug was not correct. We have cancelled the other 2 rugs that hadn't shipped yet and will never order anything from them again. We shop online... More...

  • rugstudio repeatedly delayed shipments

    This has been the most frustrating online shopping experience for me. we ordered a 6'x9' rug on 5/26, with an estimated ship date of 3-5 days (off the order page). On 6/9 we received an update that the ship date would be 6/13. On 6/17, an email revising this again to 6/20. on 6/30, an email stating they expect the order to be shipped that day. on 7/7, an estimate of 6/30! on 7/14, now a ship date of 7/30. with all of my emails, the response has been an automated email with a fictional future ship date (or in the case of the july email, a date in the past) More...

  • Terrible Carpet, Even Worse Customer Service

    I bought a carpet from's clearance sale. It looked NOTHING like the online photo (which I now realize was severely airbrushed). I called customer service who were incredibly rude to me and refused to pay the return shipping. When I asked to speak to an owner or manager, I was told they were busy and not available. It cost me over $50 to return a mis-advertised/mis-represented rug, and then they took over a month to refund my purchase price. AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL.
